PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
CP-1515-220 product is unique co-polymer of polyalkylene glycols. The ability of these lubricants to withstand dilution by hydrocarbon and other compressed gas is particularly advantageous in flooded screw compressors. Other advantages include stability, low ash content, high viscosity index, shear stability, and excellent lubricity.
CP-1515-220 product can often extend tooth life in gears by decreasing or eliminating spalling and reducing pitting and wear. This is particularly true in the case of bronze-on-steel gearing surfaces.
CP-1515-220 product is insoluble with water at temperatures above 160¨H. Fortified with rust and oxidation inhibitors, they also contain antiwear and mild boundary lubrication additives and additives to help prevent corrosion where hydrogen sulfide (H2S) is present. -
