Description

r.rhenus ZC 948 is a system cleaner, suitable to remove easily impurities from tool
machines, coolant sumps and pipework while the machine is running.

Working method

Due to the outstanding wettability of this system cleaner, dirt, bacterial slimes, fungal
patches and yeast colonies are solved from the ground even at inaccessible spots.
Oil separations and creamings are quickly re-emulsified and the dissolved dirt is carried by
the emulsion.The integrated disinfectant kills micro-organisms within short of time.
r.rhenus ZC 948 contains anti-corrosive agents with a spontaneously acting alkalinizing
effect which protects machine and work piece from corrosion during the time of exposure.

Application

Depending on the grade of contamination simply add r.rhenus ZC 948 to the emulsion at 0,5 to 1,5 % dilution prior to refilling with new coolant.We recommend to continue to run the machine another shift with the used emulsion including the system cleaner.Then drain down the heavily contaminated emulsion together with the system cleaner.Clean system by flushing with an emulsion of 1 to 2 % (corrosion protection!). After this, the system can be recharged with fresh emulsion. If the refilling is done shortly after the flushing,clear water can also be used.
r.rhenus ZC 948 can also be used as a stabilizing emulsifier (concentration approx.0,1 %) for coolants containing amines.This application should be done on laboratory recommendation only.
